Another 1000 kids went to see "We're Going On A Bear Hunt" yesterday, at the Clocktower Centre on the last day of Term 2.
The image above is of the ordered parade of 165 kids/teachers and parents from St Paul's, Keabla, going to the theatre. Booking teacher, Tina, was working hard, directing traffic. She had raced to the head of the column by the time i took out my camera. It's so satisfying to know she thought all the effort worthwhile. This is what she said
"The show was fabulous! Teachers and students absolutely loved it and it was great to have the resources prior to today's performance, so that we could sing with the children and practice the actions...Thanks to you, your staff and the performers. A fantastic way to end the term." Tina Segulin
Thanks to you, Tina, and all the other teachers who went out of their way to organise a great experience for their students. Melbournians can still catch production in Frankston in the holidays, before it heads to Sydney and on to Brisbane

Just yesterday, Huntingtower School teacher, Gill Cutler took a group of students to see "We're going on a Bear Hunt" at The Karralyka Theatre in Ringwood, Victoria. This is what she wrote:
.."we LOVED the show! Thank you so much. Very clever and creative way to portray the story.
The children had a wonderful time. Took the 3 year olds for the first time ever on excursion."
Thank you, Gill.

1. if you haven't booked a show for book week this year - there's not much chance of getting one.
Unless you live in Melbourne and want a show for P - 2. Sarah, from the wonderful The Reading Bug show (image above), has just freed up some dates allocated to international performances to meet the demand in Melbourne. She still has some dates left! Hurry, book here.
If you want a show for P - 6 in Victoria, once again, why not think laterally and book the Mad Hatter? There are some book week dates left.
2. Why not book now for 2018? All our book shows will be offering great shows next year (even if they're not decided yet). Get in now and save the stress of doing it next year! It's cheaper too! All of the Companies on this link will offer book shows next year.
