“The guest storyteller Jan ‘Yarn’ Wositzky, was so entertaining and a great presenter! Jan was very flexible and he was able to adapt his workshop formats to suit our requirements."
Marissa Caluzzi, Ivanhow Girls Grammar

Jan 'Yarn' Wositzky's Storytelling Workshop is all about storytelling: how stories work and how students and teachers can use stories in their studies.

Jan is a very experienced storyteller, as a performer and also as a writer of oral history books, radio and television documentaries, audio tours, newspaper articles, songs and stage shows.

In this workshop he uses myths, legends, personal tales, history stories, poetry, tall tales and songs to exposes students to different forms of the ancient art, share his love of storytelling and pass on hints and techniques for students to tell and write their own stories.

This session can have an Australian or a wider focus, depending on curriculum needs of the class.
