Josephine Wants to Dance

Monkey Baa Theatre Company

Josephine Josephine
Josephine is a charismatic kangaroo - who loves to dance. Her little brother, Joey, tells her that kangaroos don't dance, they hop - but Josephine continues to point her toes and leap through the air. This uplifting, humorous tale of a kangaroo’s dream to dance is a celebration of passion, tenacity and individuality.

Monkey Baa is excited to be creating this brand new Australian musical based on the book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley, conceptualized by Eva Di Cesare, Sandra Eldridge & Tim McGarry. This production will be a truly magical theatre experience for students from Kindergarten to Year 4.
