Bell Shakespeare's Shakespeare Seminars
Bell Shakespeare
Our Shakespeare Seminars are designed for students in Years 11 and 12 studying Shakespeare’s plays for senior exams. Each session is delivered by two Bell Shakespeare Teaching Artists, combining rich critical analysis with active explorations of Shakespeare’s text.
Part performance, part interactive seminar, this program combines rich critical analysis with active explorations of Shakespeare’s text.
Seminars are interactive and cover critical analysis, literary techniques, multiple readings, thematic discussion, character analysis and personal response. Key excerpts and soliloquies are performed by the Teaching Artists, with students taking over the role of director to influence meaning. A unique opportunity for senior students to meaningfully engage with Shakespeare’s plays, and work with professional artists.
Shakespeare Seminars can be delivered via Zoom as well as in person.
