Bastille Day in France
Leading to the Revolution and the overthrow of the monarchy in France, the storming of the hated Bastille prison by Parisian peasants in 1789, is celebrated as the birth of their Republic.
They managed this over 200 years ago, a year after the British established a penal colony here.

Why do holidays fly by?
Most states only have a week of holidays left....Sometimes because you're on holidays you take the time to think about work.... Teachers are so conscientious!
If you're thinking of events for Terms 3 & 4, especially Term 3, best to do that soon!
