We thought it was a fantastic workshop. We've already discussed having the incursion again next year with a different group of students.
St Mary's Primary, St.Kilda
I must say I really enjoyed it and loved how there was a combination of role playing and bullying scenarios with the focus on social intelligence
Sirius College Boys Secondary School Social Smarts

Get ready for role play, unpacking social situations and starting your journey to social confidence, intelligence and skills. Both in making friends, keeping them and navigating unexpected behaviour from others. This engaging workshop is unique, effective and works! There's drama, movement, music and fun (in accordance with age appropriateness) and includes a systematic (ideal for inclusion) 5 finger strategy which can be adapted as a whole school approach with PD.

Topics include social awareness, an inclusive 5 figure strategy, expected behaviour and overall social coaching and autonomy.

This Socially Smart Incursion focuses on the autonomy of each child to navigate social situations themselves and feel confident to do so and how to reframe your bright and quirky traits for others. No masking needed - we celebrate each child's unique self!

Respectful Relationships, Responding Respectfully and handing conflict or anti-bullying available with this incursion if needed.

Outcomes: Students learn strategies for making friends and connections. Further they learn how to navigate and respond to unexpected behaviour in others. Resilience/Autonomy, Social smarts, emotional smarts, culture building, team building, anti bullying, conflict resolution, respectful relationships, co-regulation.

I highly recommend her (Christine's) abilities in engaging a group, calming them and being at the forefront of social and emotional science teachings.
