May 9 - Should it be Australia Day?

This is the date the first Australian Parliament met in 1901, at the Exhibition Building in Melbourne. It was the first representation of a united Australia. However, indigenous Australians didn't get the vote until the 1960's so maybe this date is fraught as well.
Perhaps we just choose a new date and start from there!
