Term 2 is a great term to bring live performance in or go out to see one for Senior Secondary students, especially for English and Drama students.
Excursions:
Sydney - Seymour Centre has several offerings
Melbourne - Theatre Works has 3 suitable shows this term.
Perth - See Blue from Black Swan State Theatre Company (image above)
Incursions:There are many catering to these students.
Brisbane - See Mashed Theatre's offer.
Melbourne - See Complete Works' productions.
Both - Nationally - Bell Shakespeare has both incursions and excursions
A search of SFS, will bring up other presenters who cater for senior secondary in disciplines other than English/Drama.

Naidoc Week in 2026
The next cultural day to celebrate nationally is NAIDOC week. This year on 5-12 July, when all Australian schools are on holiday. The likely time schools could celebrate is the first week of July, when some states are still at school.
