An ancient Artform, marionettes, black light, modern developments, such as Sesame Street type puppets, all resonate with audiences as they have for hundreds of years.
Puppets can say and do what people often can't. Students empathise with them. You forget they're puppets.
There are excellent shows employing puppets on the website - from puppet making workshops, puppets in a circus, puppets telling classic stories in different languages, puppets helping students understand how to become resilient....
Most are for primary students, but some are suited to lower secondary, too
