About
Seymour Centre Arts Education Program in Sydney
For over 50 years, Seymour Centre has proudly supported arts education for young people. By partnering with creative producers, companies and schools as the University of Sydney's multi-disciplinary performing arts venue, we aim to bring the magic of live performance into the heart of education.
Our 2026 Arts Education Program is a vibrant celebration of imagination, curiosity, and learning through the arts. Designed for students from Early Stage 1 to Stage 6 Preliminary and HSC, the program features curriculum-aligned performances and interactive workshops. These are carefully crafted to inspire creativity and support meaningful learning.
From full-length Shakespeare plays, to interactive music education, to Australian children's classics brought to life, our shows are bold and immersive. Our programs help students contextualise themes and bring new perspectives and ideas into the classroom.
In 2026, we’re proud to introduce low ICSEA pricing across selected programs to help make high-quality arts education more accessible to more schools. Plus, we provide opportunities to add more to your excursion to Seymour Centre from our university partners, including campus tours and programs at the Chau Chak Wing Museum!
