Emerging artists in SA ( people under 26 years) can apply for Development Grants through Carclew. Writers,visual artists, musicians, dancers and actors have been successful this round. Check out the recipients here.

There are very few incursion companies catering both to primary and secondary students. One is Flying Bookworm Theatre, who encourage delight in English and Drama for all audiences, though their focus is more for secondary students.

Years 7 -9 - how to foster engagement
Research shows students beginning high school suffer, not just for a short time, but they often, lose confidence, are less inclined to be engaged or persevere. Students became more worried and sad, feeling less happiness and optimism and these feelings can last for years.
