One of Australia's finest choreographers, Shaun Parker, combined with an inspirational school program in Western Sydney to create THE YARD. The outcome is an excellent on all levels - a great short show that students will love combined with a workshop component which together give plenty of springboard opportunites for study/discussion. Research shows students beginning high school suffer, not just for a short time, but they often, lose confidence, are less inclined to be engaged or persevere. Students became more worried and sad, feeling less happiness and optimism and these feelings can last for years.
