School students are invited to step onto the York Theatre stage at Seymour Centre and immerse themselves in the world of William Shakespeare, guided by two experts from our resident company, Sport for Jove.
It’s never too early to introduce students to Shakespeare. Around the globe, schools are discovering the benefits of exploring his plays at a primary level. These sessions, led by two highly experienced Teaching Artists from Sport for Jove, offer an immersive, engaging, and fun educational journey through Shakespeare’s remarkable works.
Designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and encourage collaboration, each session blends presentation with hands-on, on-stage workshop activities. The goal is to make Shakespeare fun, fear-free, and unforgettable, leaving students inspired and eager to learn more about history’s most prolific storyteller.
