“Attending a Treehouse production makes students from non-refugee backgrounds reflect and think about refugee stereotypes and the people behind these images."
Jeff Lovett, Deputy Principal at Mount Annan High School
"I couldn’t recommend [Treehouse Theatre] more strongly as vital learning and empowerment for young people and for those who teach them.”
Nick Magriplis, Director of Educational Leadership at Liverpool Principals Network

Join us for an unforgettable performance of Treehouse Theatre's Young Refugee.

Experience the powerful narratives of child refugees, now teenagers, as they bravely share their real-life journeys of escaping war and persecution to start anew in Australia. This poignant performance marks the culmination of 13 weeks of group counselling and trauma recovery, empowering participants to find their voices in a safe and supportive environment.

Young Refugee invites audiences to engage and connect with the refugee experience, fostering empathy and understanding. Suitable for ages 12 and up, including families, educators and community workers alike.

Enhance your professional development while supporting these remarkable young individuals as they express their resilience and hope. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a significant transformative journey - secure your tickets today!
