"The Gizmo" created an atmosphere of sheer excitement and joy... I thoroughly recommend "The Gizmo"
Craig Johnston Henley Beach Primary School

Five stars **** Both clever and entertaining; there was never a moment of dead space where you were waiting for something to happen – which really is a huge positive in a childrens performance.
Tara Forbes-Godfrey/Glam Adelaide

Based on the well known book/series by Paul Jennings
Adapted by Verity Laughton
Published by Penguin Australia

"Something is in my pocket. Something made of steel. It is the Gizmo. It is back in my pocket even though I just threw it away. What is going on here? Am I going nuts? Or what"

Five stars ***** "Clever and entertaining. Appealing to all ages" Glam Adelaide
Four stars **** "The actors interact beautifully with the audience" The Serenade Files"

Two boys have to deal with consequences! While at the local fair, Stephen is baited by his hero Floggitt into stealing. He steals the whirling, twirling illuminating Gizmo, that sends Stephen on an amazing adventure of self discovery.

Finding it impossible to just simply get rid of the Gizmo by returning, burying or throwing on to a passing coal train, the Gizmo starts to exact it's revenge by placing Stephen in several extra-ordinary situations! Stephen finds himself in pantyhose and a wedding dress!, dragged around town on the back of the mad horse-Tiffany, chased by the local sports star and lumped with the smelly tramp's coat. Oh the shame of it!

A fun filled adventure for school groups includes music, puppetry, physical storytelling and visual effects.
