“Once again a great experience for the students and staff and parents who joined to watch the final performance. We'll be back next year.”
Teacher, Middle Indigo

“Even though the students found it difficult in the first workshop to appreciate opera (mostly because they had never experienced anything like it before), by the performance, they all expressed an appreciation for it and had gained a lot.."
Teacher, Swan Hill.

Charles Perrault’s treasured fairy tale has enchanted children for generations. With its magical transformation of poor servant girl Cinderella to the belle of the ball with dazzling glass slippers, this beloved story is full of love, hope, and fantasy.

Victorian Opera presents a humorous and heart-warming production of Jules Massenet’s opera with lessons in kindness, forgiveness and to go after your dreams. A familiar story retold with beautifully effervescent melodies, Cinderella is the perfect chance to introduce live opera to your students.

Receive four interactive workshops and a performance of Cinderella livestreamed directly into the classroom when you register your students to participate in Victorian Opera's Access All Areas: Livestream Program. Students will explore the process of producing opera and become familiar with each of the creative elements involved as they meet the cast, designer, director, conductor and orchestral musicians.

This program is easily accessed online with all workshops and the performance available later on-demand, giving you three extra views.

This program is available for schools located outside 150 kilometres of Arts Centre Melbourne. If your school is located within 150 kilometres of Arts Centre Melbourne, please visit the Access All Areas: Cinderella Livestream Program (Metro) page.
